@@ChipboardDev Sounds thrilling! Yeah I'm on a 1070ti right now and its starting to show it's age so I just decided to get the 3080 for like 350 bucks on ebay. It comes in like 2 or 3 days and my 650 watt psu (evga g5 so no worrys actually) is really hoping that I use the 3080 while undervolted lol.

@@ChipboardDev Do I understand Verlet intergration correctly as a mathematical proper way of dividing the snake into segments and calculating their positions and velocities based on forces you apply to the system? Based on my understanding of what you said, I would imagine the process kind of looking like this: sin -> forces specific for each segment to make the snake wriggle -> Verlet integration -> positions & velocities -> colliders -> collision forces -> feedback into Verlet integration -> actual positions & velocities Can you give me a "warm" or "cold" on that? I'm trying to animate sea snakes in a sensible way. When I started out, I thought it would be possible to "fake" more, but it seems like we humans are very good at seeing mistakes in those supposed to be fluent motions. Anyways, thanks a lot for giving me a hint where to go and with that I mean researching Verlet integration :). Also, being now more certain not to bother with a rigidbody component for adding up forces and torque is already a step the right direction, I think.

1. Not the best but I'm working on it and am expecting a 2x performance increase soon. 2. No but I'm looking into it, unsure if that's possible with moving clouds as of now due to lacking access to the source code where it sets texture offsets
